Record daily technician work for an easier closeout

Record service sales and tips by technician and work date so weekly closeout starts from a clear source.

Written by NailWageĐọc tiếng Việt

The hardest figures to check at week end are often the ones left in memory: whose tip was this, was that cash entered, or was Monday entered twice? Daily Work organizes totals by technician and date. It is a daily work sheet, rather than a register recording every customer purchase.

What to prepare

Prepare cash service sales, card service sales, cash tips and card tips separately. Choose the correct salon, technician and work date. Combine multiple tickets for the same technician and day using consistent categories. Keep tips out of service sales when the tip fields record them separately.

How to use it

  • Sign in, select your salon and open Daily Work for the required date.
  • Choose the technician and enter each sales and tip category.
  • Use the optional cash-advance field only for an actual advance you need to reconcile.
  • Save, reopen the technician’s row and compare it with the source before closeout.

An example to check

Illustrative example: Lan records $120 cash services, $280 card services, $15 cash tips and $35 card tips. Service sales are $400 and tips are $50. Entering $450 as service sales and another $50 as tips would double count the tips.

Next step

Start with one fully documented day. Create an account or sign in, then select your salon from the dashboard.

Open the tool or explore its sample workflow. Saving salon records requires signing in and selecting the correct salon.
