Import salon work from Excel or CSV with review

Bring Excel or CSV work totals into the salon after checking the columns, technician names and preview.

Written by NailWageĐọc tiếng Việt

If your salon already keeps a spreadsheet or exports a POS report, retyping every number creates avoidable work. NailWage can prepare an import preview from supported tabular data. Understanding each source column still matters: a column called Total might combine services, tips or tax, while the work sheet needs separate categories.

What to prepare

Use the NailWage template or prepare date, technician, cash services, card services, cash tips and card tips. Consolidate the file to one row per technician per day. Keep the original file and standardize technician names before uploading.

How to use it

  • Sign in, choose the salon and open the work-entry import screen.
  • Upload a supported file or paste spreadsheet rows, then inspect the detected columns.
  • Correct invalid rows, check technician matches and review any option to create missing technicians.
  • Compare the preview with your source, explicitly save, then inspect the resulting daily work.

An example to check

Illustrative example: Lan and Chi Lan in the source may mean the same person. Standardizing that name first avoids splitting one technician’s weekly figures across two records.

Next step

Test one small, complete day first. Once the mapping and names are correct, import the remaining dates through the salon account.

Open the tool or explore its sample workflow. Saving salon records requires signing in and selecting the correct salon.
