Weekly nail salon closeout: review technician payouts

Review work entries, tips, fees and advances before finalizing each technician’s payout.

Written by NailWageĐọc tiếng Việt

Weekly closeout is often more about agreeing on the inputs than performing arithmetic. NailWage groups recorded work into a period so an owner can inspect technician payouts before finalizing them. The public page demonstrates sample numbers; a salon’s own records remain inside its account.

What to prepare

Have complete daily entries, pay rules, tip and fee treatment, and recorded advances ready. Select the correct salon and date range. Check that the ordinary period does not overlap an already finalized one.

How to use it

  • Open your salon’s Closeout area and prepare the period.
  • Review each technician’s sales, tips, fees, advances and check/cash amounts.
  • Compare totals with your POS or source sheet and resolve missing figures.
  • Finalize only after review, then export or share the appropriate summary.

An example to check

A simplified illustration with no fees or other adjustments: $1,000 in service sales × 60%, plus $120 in tips, less a $50 advance, leaves $670. Real records also depend on the salon’s and technician’s settings.

Next step

Try the public example to understand the steps, then use a complete, documented period in your own workspace.
