Check your nail salon card-processing fees

Use card volume and total fees from the same merchant statement to review your salon’s effective processing rate.

Written by NailWageĐọc tiếng Việt

Your quoted processing rate and the total deducted each month can look different. Start with one complete merchant statement before deciding whether to change providers. Card-Fee Check uses the numbers you enter and separates the total-rate question from the more detailed fee breakdown. The public calculator needs no account.

What to prepare

Have your card volume, total processing fees and statement month ready. Keep itemized network costs and fixed charges nearby if they are available. A net bank deposit is not the same input as gross card volume.

How to use it

  • Enter card volume and total fees for the same period.
  • Read the effective rate first; open the details to inspect the calculation.
  • Add only fee components you can identify on the statement. Treat missing information as uncertainty.
  • Use the result to prepare specific questions for your processor.

An example to check

Illustrative example: $1,200 in fees on $40,000 of card volume is a 3% effective rate. That arithmetic does not establish a contract error. Fixed charges, card mix and transaction patterns can explain differences between months.

Next step

Try one statement first. To keep a month-by-month record, sign in, select your salon and save a reviewed check in Card Fees.
