Terms of Use

What NailWage is

NailWage is an income-tracking and recordkeeping tool for nail salon owners. It helps organize weekly entries, calculate technician income records, share clear summaries, and review card-processing fees.

What NailWage is not

NailWage is not a tax, legal, payroll filing, wage-and-hour, or employment-classification service. It does not issue W-2, 1099, 941, tax returns, or official payroll filings. Review official records with your CPA or payroll provider.

User responsibility

The salon owner is responsible for the numbers entered or imported, for reviewing draft OCR/import results, and for deciding how records are used. NailWage calculates from the records provided by the user.

Imports, scans, and calculations

OCR, file import, POS templates, and card-statement scans create draft or analysis results that must be reviewed by the user. NailWage may misread a source document, and the user must verify numbers before relying on them.

Records and corrections

Finalized closeout records are intended to be immutable. If a mistake is found, create a corrected record instead of deleting the historical one. This preserves the history of what was finalized at the time.

Technician links

Technician statement and earnings links are scoped bearer links. Anyone with the link may view the scoped record, so salon owners should share links carefully and revoke or rotate them when needed.

Subscriptions and third-party services

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. NailWage also relies on service providers such as Supabase, Resend, Sentry, Google Analytics, and OCR providers to run the product. Their services may have separate terms.

Use the product honestly

Do not use NailWage to hide, falsify, destroy, or misrepresent records. The product is designed to help owners keep clearer numbers, not to replace professional advice or official filings.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use of NailWage means you accept the updated terms.
