Review a saved merchant statement and prepare questions
Reopen a saved fee check, inspect its estimation basis and prepare a specific question for your processor.
After saving several merchant statements, the owner needs to know which record is being reviewed and why a result differs from before. NailWage’s review page recalculates and presents the salon’s saved fee inputs. It is a merchant-fee review, not an AI audit of the entire business or an agent negotiating with the processor.
What to prepare
Have the original statement and intended month ready. If a month has multiple saved revisions, check the latest version selected for review. Distinguish itemized costs actually entered from assumptions used because the statement detail was incomplete.
How to use it
- Sign in, select the salon and open the saved-fee review.
- Choose the month, then compare card volume and total fees with the original statement.
- Expand the calculation to distinguish itemized components from estimates.
- Read a comparison only when its basis is suitable, and turn the change into a specific question.
An example to check
For example, last month contains only card volume and total fees, while this month includes itemized network costs. Comparing the estimated markup from the first method directly with the second can be misleading. Check the basis labels before claiming that the processor increased its own charges.
Next step
Choose one statement and prepare a question naming the month, amount and charge. Return to Card Fees when the saved source needs another review.
Open the tool or explore its sample workflow. Saving salon records requires signing in and selecting the correct salon.
