Set booking availability around staff and salon resources

Base appointment availability on opening hours, technician shifts, services and resources rather than an empty calendar cell alone.

Written by NailWageĐọc tiếng Việt

A blank calendar space does not necessarily mean a service can be performed. The technician may be off, lack the relevant service assignment or need a chair already in use. NailWage evaluates the rules configured by the salon to suggest feasible times. It cannot detect a real-world change that has not been entered.

What to prepare

Prepare the salon timezone, opening hours, staff shifts and breaks. For each service, identify eligible technicians, cleanup time and any required chair or table. Include closure dates and other exceptions before accepting bookings.

How to use it

  • Sign in and open the salon’s availability settings with the correct timezone.
  • Configure opening hours, technician shifts, breaks and exceptions.
  • Connect services to eligible technicians, cleanup buffers and required resources.
  • Test several searches and review the final confirmation before accepting an appointment.

An example to check

Illustrative example: two technicians are free but only one suitable chair exists. Two appointments requiring that chair cannot both occupy it at the same time. Resource settings let the booking rules represent that constraint.

Next step

Test shift endings, breaks and occupied resources before publishing booking. Keep the settings current when staffing or opening hours change.
