Demo · POS Totals Check
Quick-check your POS summary before closeout
If you have a POS summary handy, enter 2 main totals — service sales and tips — to catch missing daily work or obvious adjustments. This is optional, not required to close out technician pay.

| Line | NailWage | POS | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Service sales | $3,000.00 | $0.00 | -$3,000.00 |
| Tips | $170.00 | $0.00 | -$170.00 |
| Known adjustments (discounts + gift cards) | −$150.00 | ||
| Service after adjustments | $3,000.00 | -$150.00 | -$3,150.00 |
Discounts and gift cards can show up in POS sales but may not be technician service sales, so they are subtracted in this quick check. A small tip difference is only a signal to review.
How it works
This is an optional quick check that lives after the technician payout preview in Weekly Closeout.
Start with 2 totals
Enter total service sales and total tips from your POS summary for the same date range. No cash/card split is needed for the quick check.
Open advanced only when needed
If refunds, discounts, gift cards, deposits, or memberships explain the gap, enter them in the advanced section.
Never blocks closeout
If there is a difference, NailWage suggests reviewing daily work or POS adjustments. Technician pay does not change automatically, and the owner decides whether to finalize.
A quick owner check only — not saved, not exported, and it never alters closeout numbers.
